Entry to the Ceilidh
A ceilidh (pronouched kay-lee) is a lively, fun social dance event, which you may already know as a Barn Dance.
They are, above all, friendly occasions for people of all ages, and you don’t need to bring a partner as there is always someone in the room you can pair up with.
Best of all, you don’t need to know any of the dances, as there is always a ‘caller’ who will teach the dance before the music starts, and then coach everyone through it as it plays.
Catch The Pigeon – a wonderful local band who play all over the county, including in Ely cathedral and smaller venues – will provide music and the caller
Supper
A ploughman’s supper is provided.
